Font Generator Copy and Paste

A font generator built for copy and paste: type once, tap Copy on any of 26 Unicode font styles, paste into bios, chats and game names.

20+ Unicode styles update as you type — tap Copy on any row.

Every row this generator makes has its own Copy button — no selecting tiny text with your thumb, no missing characters. Type, tap, paste.

The 26 styles cover the full spectrum: bold and italic for emphasis, script and fraktur for drama, fullwidth and monospace for clean layouts, plus superscript, subscript and overline for the detail-obsessed.

Why copy and paste beats font apps

Font keyboard apps demand install permissions, show ads and still only work where the app is allowed. Unicode text travels everywhere your keyboard goes — Discord, Roblox, WhatsApp — which is why copy-and-paste generators became the default way people style text.

What gets converted

The preview above uses the Monospace style. Measured coverage: 26/26 uppercase, 26/26 lowercase, 10/10 digits — every uppercase letter, lowercase letter and digit is covered. Typed length grows 1.00×.

Switching styles

All styles on this site are interchangeable: the plain text is the source of truth and each style is a one-way view of it. If a converted string has gaps, switch to another style from the same words rather than editing the decorated output — editing decorated text tends to mix two styles inside one word.

Pasting

Output is plain Unicode, so it works in chat apps, bios, captions and usernames without any install. Rendering depends on the fonts on the viewing device, so check on a phone before publishing.

Measured: what each style does to your text

Every number below comes from running the styles in this page's tool over the same test word, copy me (7 UTF-16 units). "Units" is how apps actually count a field: characters outside the Basic Multilingual Plane (most emoji, some decorative letters) count as two. Plain text is the baseline at 1.00×.

StyleUnitsvs plainStays plain text
Monospace131.86×𝚌𝚘𝚙𝚢 𝚖𝚎
Sans-Serif131.86×𝖼𝗈𝗉𝗒 𝗆𝖾
Sans-Serif Bold131.86×𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆 𝗺𝗲
Bold (Serif)131.86×𝐜𝐨𝐩𝐲 𝐦𝐞

4 of the 4 styles come out longer than plain text — because the replacement letters live outside the Basic Multilingual Plane and cost two UTF-16 units each. Monospace is the most expensive at 1.86×, so a name that barely fits a fixed field limit in plain letters will not fit in that style. Shorten the word first, then switch styles.

Swapping this style for another

The three alternatives measured above — Sans-Serif, Sans-Serif Bold, Bold (Serif) — are the ones this page shows up alongside most often, and any of them can be reached from the same plain text. Because every style is a one-way view of the original string, the swap is safe as long as you re-run the original words: converting an already-styled string through a second style produces characters the second style does not recognise, and you get a word with two alphabets inside it.

Monospace is the honest style: every character keeps its width, so columns line up and a pasted block does not re-wrap depending on the letters in it. That is why it suits code-looking captions and ASCII blocks, and why it looks mechanical inside a normal sentence. The table's length column is the reason it works in strict fields — it never grows the text.

FAQ

Where can I paste generated fonts?

Anywhere plain text is accepted: social bios, comments, chat apps, game display names, notes and documents all keep Unicode styling intact.

How do I paste without formatting problems?

Use plain paste (Ctrl/Cmd+V); avoid paste-as-rich-text options, which sometimes strip unusual characters in document editors.

Does copying work on mobile?

Yes — the Copy buttons use your phone's native clipboard, then a long-press in any app pastes the styled text.
